Ethics & Community Standards

Upholding honesty, compassion, and accountability in every reading, circle, and conversation.

At Divine Hours, I am committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment across all aspects of my work — whether you’re reading the blog, booking a service, or joining an event. These ethics and community standards outline the values and boundaries that guide my practice.

General Principles

  • I honour the dignity, diversity, and autonomy of every individual.
  • I approach my work with compassion, integrity, and accountability.
  • I encourage respectful dialogue and discourage harm, harassment, or discrimination in all forms.

Blog Comments

Your comments are welcome! Comments create conversations, maintain and strengthen connections, and they’re an excellent way for me to find cool new stuff. I want to hear from you.

To keep this a welcoming and safe atmosphere for everyone, I ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • Abusive, threatening, or hateful comments (including racist, sexist, ableist, sizeist, religiophobic, homophobic, or transphobic) will be removed.
  • Profanity is acceptable unless it is used as a weapon. Please use good taste.
  • Relevant links and signatures are okay. Spam and blatant advertising will be removed.
  • A pattern of incivility, hostility, harassment, or unwillingness to respect these rules may result in a permanent ban from this site.
  • If your comment falls into moderation, I will release it as quickly as possible.

I value diversity and welcome a variety of opinions. I also appreciate hospitality. In that spirit, I ask that commenters post in good faith.

Tarot Ethics

Tarot is art, history, wisdom, and a powerful tool for self-discovery and manifestation. My goal as a tarot reader is to provide an illuminating, supportive, and empowering experience.

As a Member of the Tarot Guild of Australia, I adhere to its Code of Ethics and Practice. This code establishes professional standards of integrity, impartiality, and respect for all clients and colleagues.

In practice, this means that I:

  • Serve your best interests with honesty and integrity.
  • Communicate clearly about the terms of service (fees, confidentiality, cancellations, and scope).
  • Conduct readings in a non-exploitative and non-judgmental way.
  • Respect client confidentiality, except in cases of imminent harm or legal obligation.
  • Work within the limits of my competence and pursue ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Empower clients to make their own choices and take responsibility for their lives.
  • Recognise when a referral to another practitioner or professional is appropriate.
  • Respect and support fellow practitioners.
